Thinking Blogs?

By Francis W. Porretto

All right, it's Monday, and the peculiar stresses thereof are sufficient justification for something a little lighter than average, even for a humble Curmudgeon.

Bernie at Planck's Constant has "tagged" Eternity Road with this newish meme, which goes as follows:

  1. Link to five blogs that make you think.
  2. Link back to the origin post at The Thinking Blog.
  3. Display the awe-inspiring sigil of this new exercise in self-exaltation, which now appears on the right sidebar, with a link to this post.

Hm, not too difficult. Perhaps your Curmudgeon missed one of the rules.

  1. Francis, I didn’t follow the rules.  I just listed Eternity Road in my list of five over at Political Pastaschios.  I didn’t write a post and tag or link as directed.  Never have been able to follow directions well.

  2. Wow! To be included in your list is high praise, indeed. I’m grateful to be included in such fine company.

I just have one question- were you hittin’ the Guiness before adding SC&A;to the list?

  3. Guiness? Guiness?? By heaven, when I want chocolate milk, I bloody well make chocolate milk!

    (tee hee)

  4. you did the part where you had to hop up and down naked on one foot while juggling live squirrels, right?

  5. Damn! So that was it. Now I’ve got to get into the fish tank and sing.

    “And did those feet,
    “In ancient times,
    “Walk upon England’s mountains green...”
