The Hour Of The Knife Part 4: Game Time

By Francis W. Porretto
Francis W. Porretto avatar

Fran here. I sat down to this furshluginner keyboard intending to write a "Storyteller's Art" piece, but decided that a blogscan was overdue and had to come first. Imagine my "surprise" when Pamela Geller Oshry's Atlas Shrugs pointed me toward this:

Palestinian militants who held two Fox News journalists hostage for nearly two weeks threatened in a statement posted online Saturday to abduct non-Muslims visiting the Palestinian territories and kill them unless their demands were met.

The statement, posted in the name of the Holy Jihad Brigades on a Web site frequently used by militants, said the group would kill any hostages it takes unless they converted to Islam, paid a ransom or Muslim prisoners were exchanged for their release.

"Any infidel blood will have no sanctity," the group said in the statement.

It was not possible to verify the authenticity of the statement, which was dated August 27 — the day militants released American journalist Steve Centanni, 60, and New Zealand cameraman Olaf Wiig, 36. They were seized Aug. 14 in Gaza City.

The militant group had demanded the release of Muslim prisoners held by the United States in exchange for freeing the journalists.

During their captivity, the journalists were forced at gunpoint to declare that they had converted to Islam, Centanni told Fox News after he was released. The group said in its statement that the journalists' declaration saved their lives.

"Nothing but Islam gave their blood sanctity and prevented their slaughter," the group said.

(Thank you, Pamela. If I weren't firmly married, you'd be in real trouble.)

That's it. I have had enough.

A lot of secularists would shrug this off. "Where's the harm?" they'd say. "Mouth the words, win your freedom, and once you're back among friends, go back to doing as you please." I don't mean to dismiss their contentions out of hand, nor do I feel any but the highest respect for them, but they're a bunch of BLEEP!ing idiots. There's nothing in the world more easily detected, given time, than insincerity. Just a few high-profile kidnap victims reverting to "infidel" status would, with the enthusiastic "help" of our Old Media, give the game away for good and for all. After that, the slaughter of Westerners would be unrestrained.

Any number of microcephaloids have lambasted me for asserting -- and demonstrating, from the Qur'an's own words! -- that Islam is an evil creed. It's time to wake up, morons. We're at war with something ideologically at least as bad as Communism or Nazism and practically far worse: something that commands a billion-plus adherents and rules 22 distinct nations. Six million of its devotees walk among us unmolested. Your "multiculturalism" BS will no longer float in reality's bowl.

It's time to play the kind of hardball America played in 1942:

Please don't mistake me. I'm not advocating the military removal of the governments of 22 nations. I'm advocating the complete expulsion of Islam from the civilized world. I don't want there to be even one practitioner of that vile creed left alive and free when we've finished. Muslims everywhere must renounce Islam and destroy all its worldly appurtenances. Those who refuse must be penned up so tightly that a flea could not escape their accommodations, and kept that way until the last of them has strangled the next to last for "heresy" and then died alone in the cold and dark.

Bloodthirsty? Yes, indeed. More so than you can imagine. Nor do I feel the slightest embarrassment about it. Islam has powered the foulest behavior and animated the most vicious atrocities known to history, ever since its inception in the seventh century. It should have been extirpated long ago. If I were still young enough and hale enough, I'd take a hand in it myself.

I don't want to hear one word said about the crimes of Christendom. We unlearned our evils and repented of our crimes centuries ago. We became lovers of peace and tolerance, societies reluctant to fight even for good reasons. It's precisely those virtues that Islam has exploited to penetrate our nations and undermine our confidence in our convictions. It's precisely those virtues we must set aside -- temporarily -- to win a free, peaceful, tolerant future for the human race.

Do you think Western societies can tolerate the perpetuation and proliferation of Islamic exclaves? Would you prefer a world in which "traditional Muslim behaviors" are conceded some measure of respectability? If "innocents" must die, would you prefer that they be ours, or theirs?

President Bush has said, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." I will say: Either you are with me, or you are with the Muslims. I mean it exactly as he did.

No matter how ardently you might wish it, there is no middle ground in this struggle, and there will be none. You must choose.

In an apparent Sept. 11 communiqué broadcast on ABC News, an al Qaeda operative threatens new attacks against cities in the U.S. and Australia.

"Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, Allah willing. And this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion," the tape warns. "We are Muslims. We love peace, but peace on our terms, peace as laid down by Islam, not the so-called peace of occupiers and dictators."

Choose wisely.

  1. Couldn’t have said it 1/10th as well myself.

  2. Excellent.

Islam is a vile doctrine that is antithetical to all that the West has sought to create.

It is hostile to free inquiry, compels conversion, kills Muslims who want to leave Islam, subjugates women, and is host to the most pathetic theocratic superstitions. The guy who became the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia once proclaimed that the world is flat.

Islam ensures theocratic rule, which in the case of Islam translates into arbitrary rule by men with limited and useless educations.  Its holy book is an embarrassing random cluster of contradictory pronouncements that served to advance Mohammed’s particular Urge of the Hour.

Islam enslaves the mind and smothers life.  No one can adhere to all the tenets of Islam and be a decent human being.  One can only be a decent human being AND a Muslim if one believes in some bowdlerized version of Islam.  If you believe in The Full Monte you are a killer or believe it is your duty to support killers.

Other than that, it’s a really great religion.

  3. Word.

  4. Peace on their terms?  Oh, right.  Well, then, sir, en garde!

  5. Right. We’ll just walk to work, then…

  6. Congratulations sir for an excellent post. I’ve been saying the same for close to five-years now and I’m relieved that others are starting to have a similar realization. It’s unlikely that this will happen until we lose a city or two with two comma casualty counts. At that point I expect to see Dems, RINOs, and journalists hanging from lamposts side-by-side their Muslim co-conspirators.

  7. Knowing your type, I am sure that seventy years ago you would have been saying the same about the Jews.

Isn’t a call for genocide ("Any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group") illegal in the US?

Specifically US Code 50A, Section 1091, article (c): “Incitement Offense. - Whoever in a circumstance described in subsection (d) directly and publicly incites another to violate subsection (a) shall be fined not more than $500,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

Look here for details of the law that you have broken: http://www.preventgenocide.org/law/domestic/uscode.htm

Just to let you know, I’m forwarding a link to this article to the FBI. They will, I’m sure, enjoy looking at the, erm, “interesting” articles you have published, and your decidedly “unusual” views.

  8. Oh, forward it, by all means; I wish I’d thought to do so myself. It might prompt them to re-think their policies. I trust they’ll be amused that a Briton, whose nation is on the verge of being Islamicized from within, would take the time to alert them to an American who’d like his own country to be spared that fate.

  9. Fran: Sweet smoking Jebus!

The real question is, “Will anything less suffice?”

    {Contemplates}

    As for Wayne:

You are a fool, who would use our society’s mechanisms of decency to promote the destruction of that society by one which has no mechanisms of decency.

We may, or may not have to compass tbe the elimination of Jihadist Islam to ensure the future security and dignity of humanity, but you would prevent that the question even be asked.

  10. Right. We’ll just walk to work, then…

Years ago I saw a t-shirt that said: “Nuke their ass, take the gas”

    Works for me.

  11. I linked you Francis and added some commentary of my own.

...Some will surely argue that Islamic radicalism will collapse under the weight of its own rot in time like the Soviet did. However,…

  12. There has also been some rehashing of late about the “lack of sacrifice” on the part of the (American) Public at large regarding the WoT.  Are we no better then previous generations when faced with the challenge of defeating/removing a recognised evil from the face of the civilized world?  So we have to ration gas? Or some form of conscription MAY have to be used to bring our military up to former levels.  Or heaven forbid some of us old farts are recalled to arms.

Even if this fight, on a global scale, caused us to go bloodied but unbowed into the annuals of history as free men unwilling to submit to sharia or scimitar....better this then the alternative.

    Well said Fran, Well said!

  13. Darn puter presets...the above was by Guy, Deb’s other half.

  14. Are we no better then previous generations when faced with the challenge of defeating/removing a recognised evil from the face of the civilized world?

Americans have always had to be dragged into fights of this nature.  Our ability to wish away bad thing and people is really quite remarkable.  Equally remarkable is our capability for extreme violence, with rather little remorse, when finally provoked into decisive action.

  15. Link and cheers posted here, too. Thanks, Fran.

  16. Another point for Mr. Rooney:

In America, we have something called the First Amendment that protects speech, no matter how politically incorrect it may be.

As with the laws against sedition which remain on the books, the law distinguishes between advocacy of a policy, and speech directed towards its immediate implementation.

In the case of sedition, for example, one can say “I advocate the overthrow of the government.” This is distinct from, for example, “Meet me on the village green at 10 o’clock, Thursday, so we can start the revolution. The first target will be town hall.”

Similarly, Fran’s advocacy of his policy is distinct from, for example, “Meet me on the square so we can begin hunting Jihadis.”

  17. Seriously, I hope you are wrong, but I believe you are right.  Sad.

  18. Knowing your type, I am sure that seventy years ago you would have been saying the same about the Jews.

If he had been describing Jews that way 1900 years ago, he would have been right. According to Jewish sources, there was a epidemic of causeless hatred among Jews of the era. Also see Wikipedia and an unserious (but mostly accurate) portrayal in the movie Life of Brian.

Isn’t a call for genocide ("Any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group") illegal in the US?

    No.

  19. I forgot to add that if Jews became more reasonable, there is some hope for Muslims.

On the other hand, I am not holding my breath.

  20. Walt Rooney, you son of a bitch, you, how dare you?

You, of the type that has helped trade Britain’s great nation for a temporary illusion of safety.

You, the coward, who dares to come here and THREATEN he who is unwilling to stand by and cower as you.  You, who know nothing of our tradition and law, and nothing of your own, obviously.

We here are all Fran’s ‘type’, you craven excuse for a human man, unwilling to bargain with the Islamist alligator to eat us last.

You, slimy appeaser, who is threatened not by his sworn decimator but by those who would stand against such evil.

You have shown yourself.  I spit on you and your kind.

  21. Just so you know, Mr. Rooney has been back to insult us all. I deleted his comment, since it was incoherent and failed to address anything substantive said here. He’s had his say, and will have no more.

I will not pay for server space to have it used to insult me or my friends.
