Liberations
By Francis W. Porretto
A liberation is the release of a constraint: the restoration of freedom to a shackled person or society. Liberation is what all of us seek as individuals; however, it more frequently appears to be that which societies shun. This is in keeping with Dr. Thomas Szasz’s definition of freedom as “that which you want for yourself but would deny to others.”
The Liberations series:

- Liberations Part Two: Political Forces and Their Effects
- Liberations Part Three: Movements Toward Freedom Before America
- Liberations Part Four: Consummations
