From The Master
Daniel Pipes is arguably the world’s foremost scholar of Islamic militancy. (At any rate, he’s surely the most reviled by the Muslims of the world, which raises his credibility a notch in my eyes.) In sequel to Bernard Lewis’s stunning opinion that Europe will be wholly Islamicized by 2100, Pipes has reminded us of his own predictions from November, 2001:
The Muslim population in this country is not like any other group, for it includes within it a substantial body of people—many times more numerous than the agents of Osama bin Ladin—who share with the suicide hijackers a hatred of the United States and the desire, ultimately, to transform it into a nation living under the strictures of militant Islam.
Bernard Lewis has said it. Steven Emerson has said it. Daniel Pipes has said it. If you need more authorities than those, I can supply them.
The size of the danger comes not solely from the numbers of persons involved, but from the ease with which they conceal themselves among persons of the same creed and ethnic extraction, and the support they receive, ranging from tacit tolerance to willing provision of funds and concealment, from that immersing population. In this regard, Islam differs from any other threat the West has ever faced. Because of its ability to hide its claws, and its ability to evoke mindless tolerance from “infidels” by claiming to be a religion, it is an incomparably greater threat than Nazism or Communism were or could have been.
Remember always:
- Muslims reject the separation of church and state.
- Muslims believe that they have a divine mandate to impose Islam and shari’a law on the whole world by any means expedient, including force and fraud.
- Muslims believe that “infidels” have no rights a Muslim need respect.
- Muslims are bound by the tenets of their creed, in any contest between a Muslim and an “infidel,” to take the Muslim’s side regardless of the merits.
Think about what that implies for electoral politics.
Is anyone listening?
